The Major Atom Girls are on fire. The girls completed their second straight 5-0 weekend en route to winning the A/AA Chris Paulin Tourament. The have won 10 in a row and are improving and gaining confidence each game.
The started off by beating the Ottawa Shooting Stars on Saturday 40-26 with Morgan Winters getting Player of the Game.
Game 2 was a 32-27 battle against Arnprior Valley Pride with Emma Neelin taking the player of the game honour.
Their third game of the busy Saturday was against the Cornwall Lions. The Blazers won 31-21 with Mercedez Covey taking P.O.G. award.
Semi Final game against the Shooting Stars was all Blazers as they coasted to the 39-21 win setting up the finals against Gatineau Phenix. Maci Suffel won MVP for game 4.
The finals was not much of a battle as the Blazers scored 50 points en route to the 50-23 win. Amelia Adams won player of the game in the finals.
