The Major Midget girls did it again, this time taking down the top teams in OBLEast to win the gold medal on home turf.
The girls won all their games in the abbreviated tournament due to the weather. Hosting at ST Mary, the girls came out on fire and took down Nepean 2 45-28. Game 2 was a 46-33 win over Ottawa Next Level. In the finals, they played Gloucester Wolverines and a close game ended in the Blazers favour, 42-33. The girls are ready for their Ontario Cup 2018 games in 2 weeks in Ottawa.
