The Major Midget girls came away with Gold at the final Stacey Dales Invitational Tournament of the season for the Blazers. The girls went 2-0 in round robin play, with wins over Ottawa Next Level and Ottawa Shooting Stars. In the crossover semi final game, they beat Gloucester Wolverines 54-23 to set up a meeting with Nepean Blue Devils in the finals.
After a quick start by Nepean, the Blazers settled down and pulled away with the 58-28 convincing victory. The girls look to continue their great season in Kingston at the MEGA Tourney.
