The U16 ladies completed a great OBLEast season by bringing home a gold medal from their weekend tourney. Despite their record and wins against stronger teams they were seeded in Division 2 but got some satisfaction by going 4-1 on weekend and claiming the gold medal in a thriller 40-38.
On the first day they defeated KYBA Selects 42-30, Goulbourn 50-37 and lost to Russell Rockets 35-32. Sunday in their final round robin game they took down Upper Valley River dogs to claim the #1 seed.
