The U14 Boys finished off their EOBA schedule with a great performance in front of the home fans. The Boys finished their pool play 2-0 with wins over Nepean U13 Blue Devils and the Belleville Spirits in Overtime. Their semi final game against Ottawa Shooting Stars was tight until their pressure defense gave them a lead they would not surrender. In the finals, they faced Belleville once again. This game was an instant classic. The game was back and forth all game including a deep three point buzzer beater to end the third quarter by Isiah Beckstead. Chris Johnson hit a shot with 8 seconds left in the game to tie the score. Unfortunately, 1 free throw by Belleville with 3 seconds left gave them the lead and the Blazers couldn’t hit the desperation three.
The team now prepares for their Ontario Cup hosted in Ottawa
