The U14 Girls drove through a storm to get to Guelph to participate in the Guelph Knights Basketball Tournament. The girls, missing Maci due to a broken foot, came out strong Saturday morning beating East York Eagles 43-31. Saturday afternoon was more of the same as they rattled off a 64-34 win. Saturday evening they took in Guelph University Volleyball action.
Sunday morning they beat the Thunder 49-40 before heading to the Gold Medal game. They battled the Ancaster Blitz in a very tight game with the Blazers winning 49-47, closing it out with a free throw from Paige DeKroon to seal the game. Congrats to Coach Andrea and Ray and all the girls. Scoreboard didn’t add their last FT on.
