The U16 Women Douglas came home with a silver medal in their first action together as a team. The ladies just finished their High School season before getting the club team back together.
They started the tournament in great shape winning all 3 of their round robin games over Ottawa South Bedrock, Naismith and Ottawa Shooting Stars. That set up a final game vs Gloucester Wolverines. The game was close for most of it, but a little spurt by GCBA gave them an advantage the Blazers couldn’t over come. The final score was 51-39.
The Blazers start their OBL East league this weekend.
